Letting Go Like the Leaves: A Reflection for Autumn & Navratri

The trees don’t cling to their leaves. When the season calls, they release them: freely, gracefully, without hesitation.

What if we allowed ourselves to do the same?

This is the heart of Ritucharya — the Ayurvedic practice of aligning our lives with the rhythm of the seasons. Just as we wouldn’t wear summer clothes into winter, we are not meant to carry every pattern, thought, or habit forward. Nature resets, and so must we.

Like the branches making space for next spring’s blossoms, we are invited to let go of what no longer serves us:

  • Habits that drain us,

  • Thoughts that scatter us,

  • Attachments that no longer align.

Fall is not an ending. It’s a clearing: a conscious preparation for what’s to come.

Navratri — Nine Nights of Renewal

This is the essence of Navratri. For nine nights, we honor the goddess in her many forms, calling on strength, courage, wisdom, and compassion to help us shed what is heavy and anchor into what is true.

Navratri falls right at this seasonal turning point, offering us not just rituals, but a framework for renewal and for aligning with both nature’s rhythm and our own.

🌸 Reflection for You:

  • What am I ready to release?

  • What practices help me stay rooted in change?

  • How can I live more in rhythm with the seasons?

In my Navratri Workshop, we’ll explore these reflections with journaling, meditation, and goddess-inspired practices, drawing directly from Ritucharya to guide our seasonal reset.

My journals are designed to support this journey year-round — helping you pause with the seasons, release what no longer serves, and realign with clarity.

Because like the trees, you too are allowed to let go. And in that letting go, you prepare the soil for new blossoms. 🌿
